Hurricanes impact coastlines worldwide with destructive storm surge, high winds, and flooding rains. Advancing the science of hurricanes is one of our major areas of focus at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science. With a team of approximately 25 faculty members, research staff, and graduate students from a wide range of interests, we work to further our understanding of hurricanes and their effects on people, to reach a safer tomorrow.
